SALES EXECUTIVE

We are searching for a dynamic Sales Professional with a strong knowledge of manufacturing to represent CBM’s capabilities, create new relationships and develop key accounts.

Job Description

 

  • Dedication and accountability for prospecting activities to build a strong sales pipeline
  • Prospect new customers to promote sales and travel to new accounts as necessary
  • Prepare and present marketing materials for prospective clients
  • Prepare and present proposals/quotations and supply contracts
  • Responsible for unit and dollar value forecasting by month/quarter
  • Contribute to the analysis of marginal contribution reports which drive pricing strategies
  • Responsible for reporting a current prospect list and monthly pipeline showing quotation attainment and sales probability
  • Actively participate in sales meetings/engineering review meetings and general procedural reviews as it applies to business development and the sales department
  • Work closely with the management team to assemble CBM’s sales, marketing and business development plans
  • Responsible for accurate and timely feedback of market information
  • Respond to inquiries from customers and follow up on customer complaints, returned products
  • Prepare all client communications and correspondence
  • Assist accounting department with credit and collection issues
  • Assist the sales department and management team to ensure sales department processes are streamlined for efficiency.
  • Stay current on knowledge of company’s products, policies and ISO procedures

Qualifications

 

  • University Degree or Community College in related field
  • Minimum 5 - 10 years of related sales experience in manufacturing
  • Solid knowledge of contract manufacturing models and metal fabrication processes
  • Competitive, entrepreneurial drive to achieve results and provide quality products to customers
  • Proven ability to win business and grow accounts
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts totaling sales volumes of over $2 million
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft based applications
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills required
  • Excellent multi-tasking and planning skills
  • Possess good judgment and able to solve customer problems and initiate procedures to streamline future communications
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Familiar with ISO Quality Standards
  • Focused on continual improvement
