Job Description

• Operate spotwelder (single/multi-head)
• Operate pemming machine
• Ensure equipment is set up properly according to specifications
• Check and test welds
• Clean tips when necessary
• Complete all paperwork and data entry as required

• Perform other duties as assigned by Lead Hand or Supervisor 
• Produce quality welds as per drawings/work instructions and customer requirements
• Follow work instructions, read drawings and maintain standard times
• Check and test welds as per department procedures and quality standards
• General housekeeping and day to day tool maintenance to ensure equipment is working properly
• Complete all paperwork and data entry as required
• Follow all ISO procedures and maintain quality standards
• Follow all safety procedures and policies 
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor and/or Lead Hand
• Team player willing to help out in other departments as required

Qualifications

• Experience in machine operation in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to operate spotwelder, ability to set up spotwelder is an asset
• Ability to operate and set up square as per work instructions
• Able to accurately measure and read measuring tape
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to perform all physical requirements,  lifting up to 50 lbs
• Ability to complete paper work and data entry as required
• Ability to read drawings to ensure part is to run according to specifications and work instructions
• Flexible to work day or afternoon shift and to work weekends and overtime as required
• Knowledge of ISO procedures or similar quality standards and processes
• Focused on safe working procedures
• Willingness to learn and be trained in the job
• Team player willing to follow Supervisor and Managers instructions and help out in other departments as required
