Careers You Are Here: Home Tig Welder At CBM Ltd. we have vacancies for skilled Tig Welders using light gauge mild steel, stainless and aluminum for production and custom products Job Description Set up jobs and operate Tig and Mig welding equipment as well as grinders, sanders, air extractors, drill presses Produce quality welds as per drawings/work instructions and customer requirements Follow work instructions, read drawings and maintain standard times Check and test welds as per department procedures and quality standards General housekeeping and day to day tool maintenance to ensure equipment is working properly Complete all paperwork and data entry as required Follow all CWB and ISO procedures and maintain quality standards Follow all safety procedures and policies Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor and/or Lead Hand Team player willing to help out in other departments as required Qualifications Trained and Experienced CWB Certified Tig and Mig Welder using mild steel, aluminum and stainless steel (3+ years) Strong ability to set up and operate tig welding stations, mig welding stations, drill presses, grinder and air extractors according to product specifications and safety regulations Knowledgeable of proper welding procedures and processes to meet CWB standards Good communication skills Ability to read drawings to ensure part is to run according to specifications and work instructions Ability to perform all physical requirements for the job and lift up to 50 lbs Flexible to work day or afternoon shift and to work weekends and overtime as required Knowledge of ISO procedures or similar quality standards and processes Focused on safe working procedures Willingness to learn and be trained in the job Team player willing to follow Supervisor and Managers instructions and help out in other departments as required Interested applicants should forward their resume to HR at CBM Ltd. to careers@cbmmetal.com.
