Each unit is equipped with a female RJ style jack in thebase of the drawer. Modular cables for common POS slip / receipt printers are sold separately.
As an option, a micro-switch can be added to detect drawer status. Specific modular cables are set up internally to detect on the printer manufacturer's specification of either normally open or normally closed, with no wiring change required by the user.
