- 9 pin to 9 pin female primary cable and 120VAC TO 12VDC step down power supply
- Top bank of eight switches allows integrator to program the cash drawer in reverse binary with any character from the ASCII alphabet
- Lower bank of dipswitches sets the baud rate, data format, opens or closes the pass through port and selects the option to have the cash drawer open only upon receipt of two identical ASCII characters
- Pass through option allows cash drawers to be daisy chained together, each drawer firing on its own separate ASCII character(s)
- Second serial device such as customer display or serial printer can be installed on the end of either a single or the final unit in a series of daisy chained cash drawer pass-through ports
- All data except the character(s) to open the single cash drawer will be passed through to the terminating serial device
- Drawer status monitoring is included with each IRS 232. Pin nine, on the DB9 connector can be checked for drawer status
- Removing back panel accesses the serial card containing two banks of “dipswitches”
